Do you ever feel like you have to hide so much of who are you to fit in?
Maybe it’s “corporate-ing” up your presentation.
Maybe it’s editing out your personality to attract certain clients.
Maybe it’s trying to be like someone else when you take the stage as a speaker, or step in front of your ideal customers to present.
It’s scary to show up as “us” in these places because what happens if the people in the room don’t like “us?”
I had the chance to watch today’s podcast guest, Brant Christopher Menswar, give the opening keynote at a conference we are both keynoting for Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers in Napa.
Brant Menswar is one of the country’s top 10 motivational speakers. He is an author and award-winning musician, a podcast host of a podcast called thoughts that rock would.
He’s the CEO and founder of rock star impact, a boutique agency that teaches people and organizations how to cultivate values based leadership.
We also talk about his brand new book, Black Sheep: Unleash the Extraordinary, Awe-Inspiring, Undiscovered You. That comes out September 29th, 2020 it’s called black sheep unleashed the extraordinary awe inspiring, undiscovered you. He takes us down that journey a little bit in this episode. So we can get a jump on figuring out our own black sheep.
